Overview
Druid Recorder by Druid Apps Studio brings screen capture, a local recording library, practical editing tools and optional recording overlays into one Android app.
No account, ads, analytics or cloud upload service. Videos and edits are processed on your device. Sharing and local Wi-Fi Transfer happen only when you choose them.

Record your entire screen on Android 10 or later, or one app on Android 14 or later. Android asks for capture consent every session. Choose a recording profile, resolution, frame rate and orientation within your device's capabilities.
Record silently, with your microphone, with supported device audio, or with a mix of both. Adjust input levels and mute the microphone during recording. Device audio depends on Android and the source app allowing capture.
Use countdown, pause, resume and stop controls from the app or notification. Optional floating controls and a Quick Settings tile give you convenient access. Set auto-stop limits, keep the screen awake or enable recording-time Do Not Disturb.
Use optional facecam and drawing annotations during entire-screen recording. Add a text or image watermark to the completed video. Facecam and annotations are unavailable in single-app capture; facecam is limited to 30 fps.
Play, rename, delete and share recordings, and add timestamp markers. Save a new edited copy with trimming, one middle-section cut, audio adjustments, rotation, crop, speed changes or compression. The original recording stays intact.
Use Android sharing or start a temporary HTTPS download session on a trusted local Wi-Fi or Ethernet network. The browser connects directly to your phone using a secret URL; there is no Druid cloud relay. The session uses a self-signed certificate and shows its fingerprint.
Privacy and compatibility
New recordings and edited exports are saved in Movies/Druid Recorder. Existing app-owned recordings remain accessible without being moved automatically. Microphone, facecam, overlays, notifications and Do Not Disturb use Android's relevant permissions and controls.
Protected content may appear blank and some apps prevent audio capture. Single-app capture and available encoding options depend on Android and your device. Sharing sends your selected content to the destination you choose; recipients manage their own copies. Read the complete privacy policy.

The final release candidate is version 1.1.0 (build 2), for Android 10 and later. This page will link to the official Google Play listing when it is available.
